Maryville, TN – The Blount County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee has thanked students at William Blount High School for collaborating on a new design for the agency’s Marine Unit pin.

Sheriff James Lee Berrong praised Jordan Conley’s digital design class for working with the Marine Unit to create artwork for the uniform pin.

Officials said the project was a classroom collaboration that involved multiple students contributing designs.

Senior Tiauna Williams’ design had the most influence on the final selection, while junior Grace Milton, a student in Ms. Allison Phillips’ art class, also contributed artwork used in the process.

The sheriff’s office said it regularly partners with local students on community projects and expressed appreciation for the collaboration.

Officials added that the Marine Unit will wear the new pins during patrols on Blount County waterways this summer.
