Maryville, TN – The City of Maryville provided a progress update on the ongoing Carpenters Grade Road improvement project, outlining work completed during the week of June 22.

According to the city, crews continued construction activities along Carpenters Grade Road, including the closure of Peterson Lane to allow for ongoing work in the area.

Throughout the week, crews graded sections of the roadway and coordinated with utility companies to help protect underground infrastructure during construction.

By the end of the week, base stone had been installed, marking a step forward in the project’s progression toward future paving work.

City officials said the improvements are part of continued efforts to enhance roadway conditions and infrastructure in the area. The project remains ongoing as crews continue preparing the corridor for the next phase of construction.
