The event, set for Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26, is expected to draw crowds ranging from 12,000 to 15,000 attendees each day.
Festival organizers are bracing for heavy traffic in the area, with congestion anticipated beginning Thursday, April 24, and continuing through Sunday, April 27. The increased traffic is expected to create substantial delays, particularly on Friday and Saturday, as festival-goers arrive and depart from the venue.
Sheriff James Lee Berrong addressed the potential disruptions, noting that deputies will be stationed at all major intersections leading to Maple Lane Farms, located at 1126 Maple Lane, to help manage the flow of traffic. Local residents and drivers in the area should expect significant delays, particularly during peak times on both festival days.
The festival’s schedule includes a performance by Nickelback on Friday, which is slated to wrap up at 11 p.m. On Saturday, Kid Rock will close the event, with the festival set to conclude around 11:20 p.m.
In anticipation of the large crowds, deputies will be positioned along key roads in the vicinity, including Henry Lane, Morganton Road, Maple Lane, Lambert Road, Gregory Road, and Meadow Road.
