Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Crash on Moss Road in Philadelphia, Tennessee

PHILADELPHIA, Tenn. – A motorcyclist is in critical condition following a crash Monday evening on Moss Road in Philadelphia, according to the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office.

Cpl. Cody Bengel confirmed that the crash, which involved only the motorcycle, led to the closure of Moss Road as emergency responders worked at the scene. The motorcyclist was quickly airlifted to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, though no further details have been released at this time.

Emergency crews from Lifestar, Priority Ambulance Service, Loudon County Fire and Rescue, and the Philadelphia Fire Department responded to the scene.

Authorities have yet to provide additional information about the motorcyclist’s identity or the cause of the accident. The investigation remains ongoing.
