Maryville, TN – The Maryville Police Department in Tennessee has expressed gratitude to Calloway’s TN Kitchen for its support of one of its officers injured in the line of duty.

Chief Tony Jay Crisp and members of the department thanked the restaurant, located on East Lamar Alexander Parkway at Grandview Drive, for hosting a First Responder Appreciation Day across select locations.

A portion of proceeds from the event was donated to local charities, with funds from the East Lamar Alexander Parkway location specifically dedicated to Officer Justin Brown.

Officer Brown was critically injured in an on-duty motorcycle crash while providing dignitary protection and escort services for Vice President JD Vance during his recent visit to East Tennessee.

The department said the support from Calloway’s TN Kitchen and the broader community has been deeply meaningful during his recovery.

Officials added their appreciation for those who have continued to stand with Officer Brown, his family, and the department.
