Blount county fire protection district celebrates Subs & Such 43rd birthday supporting local charity

Maryville, TN – The Blount County Fire Protection District marked the 43rd birthday of Subs & Such with a visit from its crew, joining the celebration and supporting a local fundraising effort.

Firefighters stopped by the business to take part in the event and enjoy lunch as the restaurant celebrated its milestone anniversary.

Officials noted that a portion of the day’s proceeds, 43 percent of profits, was donated to Isaiah 117 House Blount County, Tennessee.

The department highlighted the importance of community partnerships and expressed appreciation for initiatives that bring residents and local organizations together in support of charitable causes.

Officials said events like this help strengthen community connections while supporting organizations that provide services to children and families in need.
