Maryville, TN – The Maryville Police Department expressed its appreciation after receiving a thoughtful show of support from members of the community.
According to the department, Police Chief Tony Jay Crisp and department personnel thanked Blount County Sheriff’s Office Chaplain Darrel Millsapps and his grandsons for delivering homemade cookies to officers.
Officials said the gesture served as a reminder of the strong partnership between the department and the community it serves.
The department noted that acts of kindness from residents help boost morale and encourage officers as they continue serving the City of Maryville.
“We truly appreciate your kindness and generosity,” the department said. “It’s support like this that helps keep our team going strong as we continue serving Maryville each day.”
