CAMPBELL COUNTY, Tenn. – The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) is investigating a crash that occurred Saturday evening involving a prisoner transport van on Interstate 75 in Campbell County. According to THP officials, the incident took place near mile marker 134.

The crash, which also involved another vehicle, resulted in non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities confirmed that all prisoners being transported in the van were safely accounted for following the accident.

While specific details about the crash remain limited, THP stated that the investigation is ongoing. Additional information has yet to be released as authorities work to determine the cause of the collision.

No further updates have been provided at this time, but the incident has raised questions about the safety protocols in place for transporting inmates across state lines.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol continues to investigate the situation, and more information may be made available as the investigation progresses.
