ALCOA, Tenn. – Two individuals were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle crash in Alcoa on Monday afternoon. The incident occurred around 2 p.m. at the intersection of Bessemer Street and Calderwood Street, involving three vehicles. One of the vehicles was reported to have caught fire.
According to an Alcoa Police spokesperson, a 70-year-old man from Maryville was transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center in serious condition. A 20-year-old woman from Alcoa sustained minor injuries and was treated at Blount Memorial Hospital.
