Authorities Seek Information After Narcotics Stolen in Alcoa Pharmacy and Knoxville Distribution Center Break-ins

ALCOA, Tenn. — Authorities are seeking information after a pharmacy and a distribution center in Knoxville were burglarized on Saturday night, resulting in the theft of a significant amount of narcotics.

According to a statement released by the Knoxville Police Department, three individuals broke into the Alcoa pharmacy and a distribution center, using crowbars to gain entry. The suspects are believed to have driven a silver or grey Ford Edge or Escape, which was noted to have no visible license plate.

The thieves were described as wearing masks, hoodies, dark pants, and gloves, making it difficult to identify them. The Knoxville Police Department has urged anyone with information related to the incident to come forward.

Crime Stoppers Offering Reward

In an effort to solve the crime, East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers has opened multiple avenues for individuals to provide anonymous tips. Tipsters can call 865-215-7165, submit information through the P3 Tips mobile app, or visit the Crime Stoppers website at www.easttnvalleycrimestoppers.org. There is also an option to leave a tip through the East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers Facebook page.

Authorities have stated that anyone whose tip leads to an arrest could be eligible for a cash reward. Crime Stoppers assures that all information provided will be kept confidential.

The Knoxville Police Department is continuing to investigate the case, and they are asking the public for assistance in bringing the individuals responsible to justice.
