Two Men Indicted in Connection to Knoxville Bar Shooting

Knoxville, Tenn. – Two men have been indicted in connection with a shooting outside a Knoxville bar last year, marking a significant step in the ongoing investigation into the violent incident.

According to court records, officers were dispatched to Bucket Head Tavern on Ray Mears Boulevard on October 15 after reports of a shooting. A witness at the scene told police that he was walking outside when he heard multiple gunshots and saw an SUV fleeing the area.

The victim, who suffered three gunshot wounds, told detectives that two suspects, later identified as Treveon Bradley and Jaden Moore, approached him outside the bar and demanded he empty his pockets. As he was preparing to comply, the victim was struck by gunfire. Bradley and Moore then stole the victim’s car, which was later recovered on Atlantic Avenue.

In addition to the carjacking, the victim reported that three necklaces were ripped from his neck during the altercation. These necklaces were later found in the parking lot of the bar.

Following the investigation, Bradley and Moore were indicted on a range of serious charges, including:

  • Carjacking

  • Especially aggravated robbery

  • Attempted second-degree murder

  • Employing a firearm during a dangerous felony

  • Two counts of aggravated assault

The incident, which occurred last October, is not the first of its kind at the location. Authorities noted that there was another unrelated shooting in the parking lot just last week, raising concerns about the safety of the area.

The indictments of Bradley and Moore highlight the ongoing efforts by law enforcement to address violent crime in Knoxville. As the legal process continues, the community remains on edge, hoping for justice in the wake of a terrifying attack.
