Maryville, TN – A multi-vehicle crash on Rutledge Pike and Hidden Haven resulted in at least one person being injured Wednesday afternoon. Emergency crews from the Rural Metro Fire Department responded to the scene at approximately 2:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, first responders found that several vehicles were involved in the crash. Due to the severity of the situation, crews were forced to use extrication tools to remove a door from one of the vehicles in order to access an injured person.

All individuals involved in the crash were transported to a local hospital, with authorities noting that the injuries appeared to be non-life-threatening.

As winter weather is expected to impact the area, officials are urging drivers to remain vigilant and exercise caution when traveling. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
