HARRIMAN, Tenn. – A large fire broke out Wednesday at the Caney Creek RV Resort, located along Roane State Highway in Harriman, resulting in the destruction of multiple campers. According to Roane County Sheriff’s Office Captain Tim Hawn, the blaze left four campers completely destroyed, while two others sustained significant damage.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire, and additional details remain limited. Firefighters responded quickly to the scene, working to contain the flames before they could spread further.

While no injuries have been reported at this time, the damage to the RV park was extensive, displacing several individuals who were staying in the affected campers. The incident has drawn attention from local officials, who are working to assist those affected by the fire.

The investigation is ongoing, and more information will be provided as it becomes available. Local authorities urge anyone with information about the fire to come forward to aid in the investigation.
