Maryville, TN — Authorities are investigating the deaths of two individuals who were found inside an apartment in the Colonial Heights section of Kingsport on Tuesday. Mikayla Sandusky, 25, of Oak Ridge, and Dillion Prater, 27, of Gray, were discovered dead from apparent gunshot wounds in a residence on Tiffany Court.
According to the Kingsport Police Department, officers responded to the scene following a welfare check and found both victims inside the dwelling. A firearm was recovered from the location and has been taken into evidence for further investigation.
