MORGAN COUNTY, Tenn. – A suspect was arrested following a fatal shooting in Morgan County on Sunday morning. Deputies from the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department responded to a home on Deerlodge Highway around 11 a.m., where they discovered the body of 33-year-old Ivory Hamby.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) confirmed Hamby’s death, and District Attorney General Russell Johnson reported that another woman was injured in the shooting. The woman was immediately transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center for treatment.
