Clinton Woman Dies in Tragic Norris Freeway Crash

CLINTON, Tenn. – A tragic two-vehicle crash on Norris Freeway last week has claimed the life of 46-year-old Donna Talent, a mother from Clinton. According to family members, Talent leaves behind two children, a 23-year-old son and a 13-year-old daughter.

Regina Woods, a cousin of Talent, described her as the kind of person who would “give you the shirt off her back.” Woods spoke of Talent’s enduring spirit, noting her strength in overcoming a lengthy battle with cancer. Talent had undergone surgery to remove cancer from her neck and mouth and had been cancer-free for over three years prior to the crash.

“Everything she’s been through just to think that a wreck took her life, it’s hard,” Woods remarked, reflecting on the heartbreak the family is enduring.

Details about the crash remain limited, with the Tennessee Highway Patrol continuing to investigate the incident. The community remains in shock as they try to come to terms with the untimely loss of a beloved local woman.

In the wake of her passing, the Talent family has launched a GoFundMe campaign to support her 13-year-old daughter, who is left without her mother. Donations made through the campaign will be directed to the care and future of the young girl.

The family is still processing the grief of their loss, as they hold on to the memory of a woman who, despite all she had faced, gave so much to those around her.

For those who wish to contribute to the GoFundMe or learn more about Donna Talent’s story, a link has been provided through the family’s fundraising page.
